Please Do Not Read This

Please do not read this if you have other important things to do. This is just a recount of my quite simple and very ordinary life. It may not matter to you at all. I am just writing to make sure that I do not forget.

I have nothing that I can boast of. I have no wealth. I have no power. I have no influence. I have nothing.

Yet, I know that I may have done something that inspires me even in my nothingness. I am filled with joy. I am happy. I am contented. I am enthusiastic. I am excited. I am expectant. I hope for the best. I always look at the bright side of things.

I do not know how people perceive me. I do not know how people look at me. I do not know if they agree with me. I do not know if they mean what they say. I do not know if they really understand me.

What I know, though, is that I love people. I do what I say to them. I wish them the best. I always pray for them when they confide anything to me. I am happy of all their achievement. I feel I am blessed because of who they are.

Perhaps it is in my nothingness that people love me. I love so many, but I am never attached to anyone. I love so many things, but I am never attached to anything.

I look at people. I read the books of their lives. I observe people most of the time. I feel quite blessed that they are doing good even during these worst times in humanity.

I say to myself, “Perhaps, if I had lived a better life, I could have been like them.” But I made huge blunders. I had elephants in my closets and gorillas in my room. I was overtaken by these gargantuan and humongous creatures in my life. It took so much time for me to finally overcome the elephants and gorillas.

Timeliness? Yes, I think everything is timely. I believe that time is not a commodity because it is the attribute of the One who created me.

Now this is my realization. Again, I say, “You don’t have to read this if you have other more important things to do. Also, this is just my own writing to myself. You don’t have to read and understand.”

Time is not a commodity because it is the attribute of the One who created me. In the greater scheme of things and in the Master’s Divine Providence, time is the only connection between the Maker and me.

I may have been nothing. I may have fallen. I may be just this simple dot. But when I have time for the Master, I give him my best undivided attention. In this simple way, I just pray that I may have pleased him. After all, this is my essence of being.
